I have been off the air since the end of March as we have doing some extension work on our house. This work has given us a bigger kitchen and an extra bedroom for our youngest son. Also we have managed to convert the old garage into an office/shack for myself.
I have started rebuilding the shack and this is how I started. I managed to obtain a 38U high rack to install most of the equipment into.
Putting in the shelves for the equipment.
Installing the MDU and the N-type patch panels.
First pieces of kit going in, Netgear Switch, NPort server and checking the size of the Anan and KAT500 shelves.
Installing Power meter sampler, X-tronic Pure-Signal sampler and ALA1530 Rx Loop amplifier.
Trial installation of the KPA500, PSU, remote power controller, Anan100D, KAT500 and Ultrabeam Controller.
NAS servers installed in the rack together with LP100A, Icom IC7100 and Alphe-Spid antenna rotator controller.
