Today after a week or so of monitoring the bands and seeing what happens I decided to try to call CQ on 50.280Mhz using a piece os software called MSHV by LZ2HV. This covers a number of modes. I was surprised to get a reply back from DK8NE, Uli and I managed to complete my first ever Metero Scatter contact. I can honestly say that this is very addictive and interesting. I was using my Anan100D, 200w from my Ultrabeam UB20-Mx.
